Reflection for the Day: As God Is, So Must His People

This chapter speaks of the restoration of Jerusalem. Where the city had been desolate, it would once again become a place where peace and joy flourished. As the Lord drew His people close to Himself, He reminded them of the importance of truth. Their words were to be honest, and their hearts free from evil.

God is a God of truth and love. As He brings restoration and blessing into your life, He calls you to reflect who He is. Let your conversations be marked by truth, and let your heart be filled with love, not evil. As God is, so must His people be.
