Reflection for the Day: What Was Right Yesterday Is Right Today

Paul’s concern for the saints is clearly seen in his letter. They were exhorted by the Apostle to stand fast in what they had been taught. The Word and the teaching they had received are not open to change. They would face influences that would seek to cause them to drift from the truth. They must remain secure in what they knew to be right.

You have been blessed to receive, along with God’s Word, sound teaching. As you go forward, you may encounter ideas or influences that attempt to adjust or redefine what you have been taught. Take note, but do not be moved. Stand firm in the Word and in the truth you have received through faithful teaching.
