Acts 12:11 And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

Thought for the Day: There Is No Need To Surrender

Reflection for the Day: What You Thought Was Impossible Has Already Been Done

Peter sat in prison, seemingly accepting that his fate was not a good one. There appeared to be no way for deliverance. His thoughts remained the same even after the angel of the Lord removed his chains and told him to follow. Peter believed it was just a vision. It was not until he went through the last gate and the angel departed that he realized he was free. He surrendered too soon. What he thought was impossible became a reality.

In the midst of your most difficult times, resist the urge to surrender. What you might see as impossible is not so for the Lord. Stay prayerful and encouraged, for your deliverance is coming. What you thought was impossible has already been done.
