John 7:37-38 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Reflection for the Day: Living Water Awaits You

Jesus, in the midst of the Feast of Tabernacles, taught the people. As the feast came to an end, He boldly declared that if any man thirst, he could come unto Him and drink. He was referring to the Holy Ghost, which He would provide to those who believed on Him. He offered living water that would meet their spiritual need forever. They would never thirst again.

In each of us there is a need for both natural and spiritual water. The natural need requires that water be continuously replenished, but Jesus offers water that, once received, satisfies the spiritual thirst within us. As a believer and recipient of the Holy Ghost, you have the joy of possessing rivers of living water. You need never to thirst again.
