Morning Reflection

Luke 8:43-44 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.

Thought for the Day:  Don’t Take No For An Answer; Insist On Being Blessed

Reflection for the Day:  Your Efforts Will End In Victory

If one glances quickly at the verse they might focus first on the word immediately.  If they did, they would be missing a great part of the story.  Though it is true, once she touched Jesus, she was healed but the twelve long years of disappointment cannot be ignored.  Refusing to accept her condition, she pursued until she finally heard about Jesus.  Once she did, in weakened condition, pressed her way through the crowd.  She touched the hem of his garments and at the same time was made whole.

Regardless of the depth of your problem or the duration of your wait, now is not the time to give up.  Jesus, once he is touched, can immediately correct your situation.  Don’t take no for answer, your efforts will end in victory.
