Reflection for the Day: Stay At His Feet—Great Things Will Take Place

Peter and John, after Pentecost, went forth declaring who Jesus is. As many came to believe, they found themselves under attack from the High Priest and the elders. Yet no threat could silence them; they remained bold in their testimony. Their boldness puzzled the leaders. These were not men with formal training or status, yet they spoke with authority and confidence. The only conclusion the leaders could reach was that they had been with Jesus.

Your time with the Lord is essential to your level of faith. As you spend time with Him, you will discover a growing boldness to declare His Word. It will not come from education, position, or recognition, but from His presence in your life. Stay at His feet, and great things will take place.
