Reflection for the Day: Happiness Follows Those That Obey

One of the last lessons Jesus shared with His Apostles was their role as servants. To lead means to serve, and this was clearly presented by Jesus as He washed the feet of the Apostles. It must not go without notice that He assured them their obedience would result in happiness. Obedience is the wise choice.

Many of the principles that Jesus presented appeared to be quite challenging; included in these was the lesson on servanthood. You will discover, in your obedience to God’s Word a sense of joy that only God can provide. Obedience is the wise choice.
