Reflection for the Day: It Shall Set You Free

As Jesus taught in the Temple, there were Jews who believed in Him. The Lord addressed them, instructing them in the importance of continuing in God’s Word. It was not merely their initial belief, but their continuing in the Word that was essential. As they continued, they would come to know the truth which would set them free.

Your initial belief in the Lord was only the beginning of what God has for you. As you continue in His Word, you will discover greater truth. It is there that you will be set free. Rejoice in what you now know—but remember, there is still more to learn.
